Snow won't dampen global-warming rallies

Snow won't dampen global-warming rallies: "Scientists and environmentalists warn that global warming could change the character of Michigan: lowering water levels and raising water temperatures, altering the kinds of crops that will grow and leading to new invasive species."

As if the "character" of Michigan has ever been in a static state. "Change is a constant." I know, that statement seems logically implausible but it is the truth, especially considering what we know about the history of our global climate.

I like the title of the article...it should continue "nor will evidence to the contrary." Also, I thought we now called it Global Climate Change? Whatever.

Diabetics cured in stem-cell treatment advance-Life & Style-Health-TimesOnline

Neat article but check out the slant. It takes awhile to get to the part where you learn that the president's evil role in halting research on embryonic stems cells, while interesting, has nothing to do with the procedure featured in the article. Interesting placement.
