Walter E. Williams: Victimhood: Rhetoric or reality? Doesn't He Know that this is not permitted speech?

Walter E. Williams: Victimhood: Rhetoric or reality?:

"Only 30 to 40 percent of black males graduate from high school. Many of those who do graduate emerge with reading and math skills of a white seventh- or eighth-grader. This is true in cities where a black is mayor, a black is superintendent of schools and the majority of principals and teachers are black. It's also true in cities where the per pupil education expenditures are among the highest in the nation."

"As Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in his dissent: 'If Congress can regulate this under the Commerce Clause, then it can regulate virtually anything, and the federal government is no longer one of limited and enumerated powers.' By 'enumerated powers,' Justice Thomas means the idea that the federal government can undertake only such activities as the Constitution explicitly permits.":

Fuck you Harry Reid. And Antonin? WTF?

If this case pisses you off, read Wickard v. Filburn. I still steam at that one!

"Is there any greater sign of delusion than running around in a minivan with a 'My child is an honor student at the so-and-so (government) school'? Well .. maybe it would be putting a 'congratulations graduate' sign in the front yard of someone graduating from a government high school. That's like congratulating someone for completing an eye exam.":

Two weeks ago at church I met a girl who worked in high-school ministries, not- campus crusade but rather one that focused on private schools. She herself had attended a private school. In our conversation, I lamented the disgusting state of public education in America and she responded that her roomate had done quite well after having attended a public school: Dartmouth, etc...

This poor girl missed what we are all missing. If roomate excelled at public school surrounded by the disfunction and lack of organization the reigns there, think about how well she could have done if properly schooled. Old school needs to be new school: Classics like the maths, languages, and the good old dialectic. How many public school teachers out there with their "graduate" degrees in education could engage a student in the socratic method. Betcha a buck, no one can find me one.

Is Europe Dying?

"For when you marry modern technology to the ideas of atheistic humanism, what you get are the great mid-twentieth century tyrannies-communism, fascism, Nazism.":

Read this Article NOW. Really, read it now! Excellent, obvious and sad.

Mike S. Adams: Sexperts, porn, and guns, oh my!

Mike S. Adams: Sexperts, porn, and guns, oh my!:

"The neo-libs claim a right to abortion they cannot identify in the constitution. But NRA members claim a right to bear arms, which is spelled out clearly below the 1st Amendment. It is no accident that the neo-libs seek to suppress knowledge of one amendment through the destruction of another."

Professor Adams, well said!

Thomas Sowell: Looking back

"During World War II, German soldiers who were captured not wearing the uniform of their own army were simply lined up against a wall and shot dead by American troops.":

Yep, pretty silly. I think, metaphorically, the root of our problems is a twisted rope of invidual strand, one of which is the fact that we have too much time on our hands. Time that, for our fallen nature, is not spent on progressing but rather, engaging in fancy and selfish feel-goodism.

Ahhhh.....Socialism

Yes, Mr. Putin, the Fall of the U.S.S.R. truly was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of hte century

Irony and Hypocracy, go together in perfect Harmony

David Limbaugh: Will the real gulag please stand up?:

"The prisoners of the gulag were those who dared dissent from a government that obliterated the very notion of liberty, whereas those at Gitmo are most likely ones who are opposing freedom and democracy in the United States, the Middle East and the rest of the world."

I see the words "Fascist Lies" grafittied all over the Washington Times News stands in DC. I wonder if any of these vandals knows what a fascist is or could point to any pro-fascist coverage in the Times. I dont'tsee the rightattatmpting to supress speach on college campuses, acting out over politically incorrect speech, or the like.
