Right Thinking from the Left Coast
Say what you like about religion or science or evolution, but holding up the literal biblical account of creation as some kind of yardstick by which everything you encounter in life is measured is just ludicrous. It’s like a Marxist viewing everything in the world through the warped prism of the revolutionary Socialist ideal. If you go around with blinders on you will never learn anything new. Having ignorance imposed on you is one thing; imposing it on yourself is something else entirely.
Since everything in life can be explained by The Simpsons, I’d like to end with a quote from one of my favorite episodes, “Lisa the Skeptic.”
