Perfect

This is one of the most brilliantly accurate thumbnail descriptions of Marxism’s appeal that I’ve ever read.

AAAAAGHHHHHH!

"The National Education Association, which represents public school teachers, has a section for sex education on its website and included is a link to the Planned Parenthood site. So much for value neutral education.":

Star Parker: School choice threatened

Star Parker: School choice threatened: "We need more general appreciation that the public school system does not provide insulation from values. By definition, education reflects values. What other than values determines what you chose to teach a child, what books you assign to read, and indeed your very sense of why you are educating the child?"

This is why we MUST get our kids out of public schools. There shouldn't be one left within 5 years of today. ALL education should be private, chosen by the parents or competent guardian, and continued to be financed from the public treasury. Invest in children, not the education lobby. Yes, pay the teachers, yes pay them well (as if we're not already), but STOP paying anyone for this mediocre shit we call education. It's indoctrination and indoctrination is fine as long as its not encouraginf dependence on Big Gov as it is today.

Atrocious analogy -- The Washington Times

"Just for the record, some 15 million to 30 million Soviets died in the gulag; some 6 million Jews died in the Nazi camps; some 2 million Cambodians -- one-third of the country's population -- died in the killing fields. Nobody's died in Gitmo, not even from having Christina Aguilera played to them excessively loudly. The comparison is deranged, and deeply insulting not just to the U.S. military but to the millions of relatives of those dead Russians, Jews and Cambodians, who, unlike Mr. Durbin, know what real atrocities are.
Had Mr. Durbin said, 'Why, these atrocities are so terrible you would almost believe it was an account of the activities of my distinguished colleague Robert C. Byrd's fellow Klansmen,' that would have been a little closer to the ballpark but still way out. "
