Michelle Malkin: Namby-pamby nation

"American children badly need moral clarity. But our education establishment is too uneasy about the idea of moral judgment to meet this elementary need. Feelings of helplessness and disorientation are thoroughly, even compulsively, canvassed, elicited, discussed, and promoted; by contrast, feelings of moral indignation and condemnation are deflected and downplayed. This leaves children defenseless, clueless and unprepared to meet real and grave threats to their own and the nation's future.":

No shit we need moral clarity:

1) Islamic Sharia based society: Bad
2) Western Judeo-Christian based society: Good
3) People who would attempt to erase America's, and Western Europe's Judeo-Christian foundation: Bad
4) Democrat "platforms" : Bad, racist, pompous, evil?
5) Turning the other cheek: Sorry Jesus, You didn't make me that way so : Bad and and sends the wrong message in my humble earthly opinion.
6) Teaching your sons and daughters to be humble: Good
7) Teaching your sons and daughters to defend themselves with extreme and unrepentant violence against those who would attacke them: Very good.
8) Protecting soft, lazy and inept people from bullies: Good, but it kinda sucks to get your nose broken defending some asshole who thinks fighting is wrong regardless.
9) Pretty girls: good, hell, most women are lovely
10) Men who are unruly, drink too much, fight, and cuss BUT love God, Family and Country: Good

VoilĂ . Moral Clarity.

Walter E. Williams: Confiscating property

"I think the socialist attack on judicial nominees who'd use framer-intent in their interpretation of the Constitution might also explain their attack on our Second Amendment 'right of the people to keep and bear Arms.' Why? Because when they come to take our property, they don't want to risk buckshot in their butts.":

Since I've yet to hear it or read it, I'll interpret the message that SCOTUS has been sending loud and clear to the people (the would be the voters) or our great nation. In upholding the BLATANTLY unconstitutional restrictions on speech codified by the McCain-Feingold law (AKA The 100% incumbent reelection law), the Court made the following arguement: We, the President and the COngress have all sworn to uphold the Constitution. The President (who signed the law) and the Congress are duly elected by You (the people), ergo, You, by electing these bozos have stamped the law with at minimum, the imprimateur of constitutionality. It's a bad arguement and a major change from Warren style activism, yet SCOTUS dropped the hint....Loudly.

Next came Kelo. The message, again, is that the condemners in Nwe London were duly elected. There was no question as to the legitimacy of the town council's election and therefore, they werer duly appointed to exercise the duties and rights of their posts, one of which is to exercise emminent domain. (Yes, I know damned well that the "public use" has been stretched). However, the fact remains that the New London city Council only exercised a right granted to it by You. IF You don't like it, vote them out, stage a referendum and recall them. The Court is not the proper venue for discussions and arguements about politics and we have all fallen into the trap of thinking, like the left, that the electorial process can be circumvented through the judicial process.

Shame on You and me. We voted for these tax dollar hungry, speech restricting idiots and guess what.........we keep voting for them. Year after Year.

I agreee with Boortz: Definately a fair deduction.

"I think it's fair to say that any person who states that we should set a date for our withdrawal from Iraq is either (a) as dumb as a load of bricks; or, (b) actually desirous of seeing the U.S. suffer a defeat in Iraq."

OpinionJournal - Best of the Web Today 6-27-05

Has there ever been a more depraved culture?:

"Fundamentalist Muslim mythology has it that terrorist 'martyrs' are greeted in heaven by 72 virgins. With Palestinian Arabs increasingly making use of female suicide bombers, we've often wondered what they get in heaven. Now we have the answer, thanks to a report in London's Sunday Telegraph from an Israeli prison:
One of the inmates, Ayat Allah Kamil, 20, from Kabatya, told me why she had wanted to become a martyr: 'Because of my religion. I'm very religious. For the holy war [jihad] there's no difference between men and women shaid [martyrs].'

According to the Koran, male martyrs are welcomed to Paradise by 72 beautiful virgins. Ayat, as with many of the women she is incarcerated with, believes that a woman martyr 'will be the chief of the 72 virgins, the fairest of the fair.'

That is to say, the highest aspiration for a fundamentalist Palestinian girl is murder, suicide and prostitution."

Satan.

nbc4.com - News - High Court Gives Split Decisions On Ten Commandments

ANd Buying Qurans for Gitmo detanees dopesn't violate the 1st?!

The jurisprudence coming from this court, this year, is increadible. It really merits serious consideration as to why there is such a multi-pronged attack on the judeo-Christian foundations of our contry. Yes, it's true, the ONLY reason America is what it is today stemms form the detribalization and ethical mores promulgated and mandated by Christianity. Old Europe owes its glorious past to the same. Today is a sad day, a very sad day.

I'm buying a 9mm, two additional shot-guns and hoarding ammo; starting today. The war, while not quite declared is inevitable and I shall, to my dying day, protect my country, its history, its future, and my property. I dare any state or federal organ to attempt to execute a search warrant at my place of residence. The recent string of supreme court cases, and congressional action restricting speech (see McCain-Feingold) has proven to me that the citizenry is lost and our elected leaders are power hungry and unbalanced.

Jesus, I've really got to get motivated to get my neighbors pissed off and scared of the reality I see. OR.......maybe I'm crazy.
